Transitioning to Film / by Adam Zehner

I want to be more involved in the process of making my photos. For that reason, I’ve made a decision to shoot less and less digital for my personal work. Shooting film involves more steps between taking the photo and showcasing it. I’ve found that there are more dopamine hits when shooting film: taking the photo, inspecting the negative, scanning/inverting, and refining the positive. It’s been a rewarding experience from the beginning. All of my personal work, from the last year, has been shot using a film camera.
